HOT FOR SEPTEMBER in Minnesota

As the earth
continues on its unstoppable trek around the sun, pointing the northern hemisphere
away from the glorious heat, I managed to locate some very hot shoes. I will
confess that there is one pair I am not going to show at this time. I want to
include them with another post in which they will better serve its dedication.

These I have in two colors. Defined by the manufacturer, one is stone in color and the other in denim. Both purchased from DSW and on clearance. If i have not mentioned it before, I have a thing for clearance stuff. It is like they call my name when they are on the clearance racks as though they are asking not be left behind. πŸ˜‰

These I
think I also have in a Patent Black. A wonderful Steve Madden Open toed sling
back Platform with the added instep strap in what I think they call nude.

I have these
Guess mules in the denim color as well. As these were on clearance, I had to go
ahead and add this color green.

The denim Guess mules

And yet
another one of the Steve Madden creations and beige open toed sued wedge to
endure the fall weather transformation. It also has an instep strap to pay
tribute to the Mary Jane style.

As a teaser, the last shoe I have opbtained in this recent excursion is going to be included with all of the animal print shoes I have in my collections. I have only one on m blog at this point and I will feel it important to repost a picture of.

Please stay tuned for this next post as I hope it will be exciting for everyone.

Comments are most certainly welcome.

I want to
take a moment and offer a special thanks to all those that have been offering
very supportive feedback.

To those
that have visited my site; whether you chose to follow me, like, rate or leave
a comment I appreciate it immensely.

I cannot put
into words how much I am grateful to all of you. So before I go crazy trying to
write something heartfelt and go overboard with attempting to give thanks I
will just say it like so;

THANK YOU!!!

THANK YOU!!!

Β THANK YOU!!!

  1. You have quite a big collection of shoes! I like all the styles in this post, but the suede wedges are my absolute favourite – they just have a certain something! If I were not on a shoe buying ban, I’d be really tempted by these πŸ™‚ Btw, are you planning on also showing outfit posts to see how you combine all those shoes? It would be really interesting to see!
Sales are also a magnet for me, but usually I “stalk” certain pairs from long before sales time. I think it’s a good strategy to look at the new styles when they are released, decide which ones you like best and then wait for sales time – it keeps me at least from buying things I would regret later and getting something you coveted for a long time for cheaper is a great feeling.

    • Thank you for the wonderful words.
I often watch the shoes in several DSW stores waiting for them to go on sale. The downside for me is the size issue. Often they are gone right away so I have to decide on how important they are for me to have. I agree though, when you get something you want for less it is like winning something big!!!
Those wedges you adore also come in black. I unfortunately lost out on those at this time unless I find them at another store.
I often wear jeans or some kind of wide leg pants. I do have several cloths items from the female department to include shorts and capris. I also have some skirts but I have not had the courage to wear that out yet. I am rather shy but I will try to get some clothing ideas together as well.
Thank you for visiting and please return often. πŸ˜‰

  2. Wow. I’m stunned with all your collections.
I just love all your choices!! I find heels without slingbacks or buckles a litte uneasy to put on, I dont have them. But these Guess heels look so fab and comfy. I want those.!
Wish there were stores selling them here.

    • Thank you for the visit. I am flattered by impressing you.
I am not certain but you might be able to find these Guess mules on the DSW website. They were from this summer’s releases.
I understand what you are saying about not having your heels strapped on to your feet. It gives a sense of instability. I found if you are relaxed and do not worry about them coming off; you will find it works out just fine. I must say with your style, they would look nothing less than fantastic!!!
      Please stop by often! πŸ˜‰

    • Thank you sweetheart; I agree. There is something about green. I just love it. I got the Denim ones first as I figured I could work with them a lot easier. I really wanted the green ones as well but at the time the blue ones were the only on clearance. I was successful in being patient and got both in the end.
I enjoy the nude ones as well. The color certainly is a versatile one. It can be suttle and it can be vibrant.
Once again I have to thank you Roxanne for visiting. I enjoy your comments. See you again soon. πŸ˜‰

    • Thank you for the comment. I am glad you like my selections. It is tough to get many different shots taking pictures of one’s own feet so I appreciate that you feel they are nice pictures.
      Please visit often. πŸ˜‰

    • Thank you for the kind words. I am flattered you are having some motivating impression with what I have post so far. πŸ˜‰
If you are speaking of the denim sling backs I agree with how awesome they are.
Please visit often; I will appreciate your future opinions. πŸ˜‰

    • Thank you for the great compliment. I did not get all of my shoes at DSW but the last years purchases have been primarily from there. I still shop eBay daily. I get some from other shops like Nordstrom’s Rack, Burlington Coat Factory and some other online stores. The storage, well… I have some extra space. I am currently getting my closet cleared out and photographing all my shoes. This is allowing me to move the storage into a spare bedroom. Someday I will get some more shoe boxes and be able to stack them to allow better floor space.
      Please visit some more! πŸ˜‰

    • I am happy to hear I found something you are very fond of. Thank you for visiting often. I appreciate it immensely. I encourage you to check them out on the DSW website to see if you can get them in your size. πŸ˜‰ I look forward to seeing you back often. πŸ˜‰

I agree the wedges are fantastic and I appreciate your complement.
Thank you for the wonderful words about my post. I am happy to hear I am creating posts others are able to enjoy. πŸ˜‰

  4. I’m loving those nude Steve Madden ones. Do you happen to know are they leather or man made materials? If the latter I might have to pick up a pair πŸ™‚

    • If I recall correctly, they are manmade material. I will double check and if they are not, I will update this by the end of the day Friday.
I like them a lot too. The style is great, love the heel height as far as the color goes, well I would take them in any color but these are fantastic!!!
Thank you for stopping by and commenting. Please do so often. πŸ˜‰

    • Thank you so much for the visit. I want to encourage you to check out DSW for the wedges. I wish you luck to find them.
I also am appreciative of your praise for my blog. Please return and do so often. πŸ˜‰

    • I am happy to know my appreciation is accepted. I am truly grateful for all the people who support my choice. It is a joy to share my collection; it is helping my confidence a lot.
Glad to see you again and hope to see you again. πŸ˜‰

    • I am glad to hear I found a pair of shoes you like. I wish you luck in getting them. Yo never know how fast they can go. I am eager to see how you wear them. πŸ˜‰
I photograph my shoes with my phone. It has a pretty good camera on it. It is not too bad in lower light conditions, but it does not have a flash so I do need light to some degree. I must say I feel I redo a lot of shots from one pair to the next. It is not easy to get good shots and sometimes I get really luck to get a different one. I thank you for the praise. If I could explain how I do it to teach others, i would do so.
Thank you for stopping by and please do so often. πŸ˜‰

    • Thank you for liking my collection. I am happy to have made an impression. I remember your red heels by Sole Society. They are wonderful as well!!! I think you should do more with them.

I appreciate the vote of confidence and acceptance with my choice of style. It is tough to overlook the crazy looks and curious stares without a doubt. But I have accepted that will come with my choice… So be it. πŸ˜‰
It was a pleasure stopping by your site and I have chosen to follow you as well. I hope you find your way back to my blog time and time again.
      Thank you much. πŸ˜‰

    • Thank you for those very kind words. I am grateful to hear you are a fan of a few of my heels; well, perhaps my feet as well. I may be bias but I must say you have good judgment. πŸ˜‰
      Please come back often. πŸ˜‰

    • One never knows how much the collect until they try to go through it; but I thank you for the kind statement. πŸ˜‰ I appreciate you stopping by and looking, please feel free to comment further. See you again soon. πŸ˜‰
